Berkeley Research Group Managing Director Adam I. Cohen is among The National Law Journal’s 2015 CyberSecurity & Data Privacy Trailblazers, which honors top individuals in the nation who have changed the legal world through the use of innovative cybersecurity and data privacy strategies.
Cohen is among a select group of 50 honorees on this inaugural list who have “helped make a difference in the fight against criminal cyber activity and towards adding much needed layers of data security in an increasingly digital world of commerce,” according to the NLJ.
Cohen, a member of BRG’s Global Investigations + Strategic Intelligence practice, is a Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) and former practicing attorney who for more than 20 years has advised clients on the intersection of technology and law. His practice spans cybersecurity, electronic discovery and enterprise information management. In addition to being an experienced consultant and counselor, he is a prolific author and lecturer whose work has been cited in several landmark federal court opinions. He has served as a court-appointed neutral eDiscovery expert in the U.S. District Court, Southern District of New York and is an active member in professional organizations and educational institutions.
